In like manner women also in decent apparel: adorning themselves with modesty and sobriety, not with plaited hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly attire,


2 Yet now he hath reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unspotted, and blameless before him:


3 It is sown in dishonour, it shall rise in glory. It is sown in weakness, it shall rise in power.


6 For the king knoweth of these things, to whom also I speak with confidence. For I am persuaded that none of these things are hidden from him. For neither was any of these things done in a corner.


1 And there came great fear upon the whole church, and upon all that heard these things.


5 By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one for another.


0 Jesus saith to him: He that is washed, needeth not but to wash his feet, but is clean wholly. And you are clean, but not all.


5 Now his elder son was in the field, and when he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard music and dancing:


9 And the multitudes running together, he began to say: This generation is a wicked generation: it asketh a sign, and a sign shall not be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet.


In a moment of indignation have I hid my face a little while from thee, but with everlasting kindness have I had mercy on thee, said the Lord thy Redeemer.
