2 And it was the feast of the dedication at Jerusalem: and it was winter.


2 Now when you sin thus against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Christ.


5 Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, and that preacheth peace: O Juda, keep thy festivals, and pay thy vows: for Belial shall no more pass through thee again, he is utterly cut off.


0 Did he therefore make thee and all thy brethren the sons of Levi to approach unto him, that you should challenge to yourselves the priesthood also,


5 Behold your house shall be left to you desolate. And I say to you, that you shall not see me till the time come, when you shall say: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.


8 But be zealous for that which is good in a good thing always: and not only when I am present with you.


7 Because thou sayest: I am rich, and made wealthy, and have need of nothing: and knowest not, that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked.


3 I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.


Be ye not therefore partakers with them.


1 For it hath been signified unto me, my brethren, of you, by them that are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.


4 Shall the ploughman plough all the day to sow, shall he open and harrow his ground?


And this is the declaration which we have heard from him, and declare unto you: That God is light, and in him there is no darkness.


0 For the sorrow that is according to God worketh penance, steadfast unto salvation; but the sorrow of the world worketh death.


2 Behold, I will cast her into a bed: and they that commit adultery with her shall be in very great tribulation, except they do penance from their deeds.

Careful to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.


4 The purchasing thereof is better than the merchandise of silver, and her fruit than the chiefest and purest gold:


5 I have been young, and now am old; and I have not seen the just forsaken, nor his seed seeking bread.


1 The death of the wicked is very evil: and they that hate the just shall be guilty.


9 And I know, that when I come to you, I shall come in the abundance of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.


5 It hath seemed good to us, being assembled together, to choose out men, and to send them unto you, with our well beloved Barnabas and Paul:


And Jesus saith to him: See thou tell no man: but go, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift which Moses commanded for a testimony unto them.


8 And now, little children, abide in him, that when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be confounded by him at his coming.


7 To no man rendering evil for evil. Providing good things, not only in the sight of God, but also in the sight of all men.


0 Amen I say to you, that this generation shall not pass, until all these things be done.


2 The lips of the just consider what is acceptable: and the mouth of the wicked uttereth perverse things.


When the Almighty was with me: and my servants round about me?


9 Thou wilt say therefore to me: Why doth he then find fault? for who resisteth his will?


Sing praise to the Lord on the harp, on the harp, and with the voice of a psalm:


Receive them from them to serve in the ministry of the tabernacle, and thou shalt deliver them to the Levites according to the order of their ministry.


For God hath not given us the spirit of fear: but of power, and of love, and of sobriety.


6 (As it is written: For thy sake we are put to death all the day long. We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.)


2 But Saul increased much more in strength, and confounded the Jews who dwelt at Damascus, affirming that this is the Christ.


6 Jesus answered: He it is to whom I shall reach bread dipped. And when he had dipped the bread, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.

7 For God hath given into their hearts to do that which pleaseth him: that they give their kingdom to the beast, till the words of God be fulfilled.


And when he had apprehended him, he cast him into prison, delivering him to four files of soldiers to be kept, intending, after the pasch, to bring him forth to the people.


3 My elect shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth in trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the Lord, and their posterity with them.


And now, O Lord, thou art our father, and we are clay: and thou art our maker, and we all are the works of thy hands.


And saw and behold in the firmament that was over the heads of the cherubims, there appeared over them as it were the sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne.


He cometh therefore to a city of Samaria, which is called Sichar, near the land which Jacob gave to his son Joseph.


For bodily exercise is profitable to little: but godliness is profitable to all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.


4 And Jesus answering, saith to them: Do ye not therefore err, because you know not the scriptures, nor the power of God?
