9 The way of the wicked is darksome: they know not where they fall.


2 They have taken me, as a lion prepared for the prey; and as a young lion dwelling in secret places.


4 And thrust it into the kettle, or into the caldron, or into the pot, or into the pan: and all that the fleshhook brought up, the priest took to himself. Thus did they to all Israel that came to Silo.


Our feet were standing in thy courts, O Jerusalem.


Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving; and make a joyful noise to him with psalms.


3 Thou wilt deliver me from the contradictions of the people: thou wilt make me head of the Gentiles.


In peace in the selfsame I will sleep, and I will rest: for thou, O Lord, singularly hast settled me in hope.


5 And the Lord will recompense me according to my justice: and according to the cleanness of my hands in the sight of his eyes.
