So Saul died, and his three sons, and his armourbearer, and all his men that same day together.


3 The burden in Arabia. In the forest at evening you shall sleep, in the paths of Dedanim.


And the spirit of the Lord shall come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be changed into another man.


2 Fear not, ye beasts of the fields: for the beautiful places of the wilderness are sprung, for the tree hath brought forth its fruit, the fig tree, and the vine have yielded their strength.


7 The beasts have rotted in their dung, the barns are destroyed, the storehouses are broken down: because the corn is confounded.


And I will lay thy flesh upon the mountains, and will fill thy hills with thy corruption,


4 Therefore hath hell enlarged her soul, and opened her mouth without any bounds, and their strong ones, and their people, and their high and glorious ones shall go down into it.


3 So Saul died for his iniquities, because he transgressed the commandment of the Lord, which he had commanded, and kept it not: and moreover consulted also a witch,


So Saul died, and his three sons, and all his house fell together.


8 His mother looked out at a window, and howled: and she spoke from the dining room: Why is his chariot so long in coming back? Why are the feet of his horses so slow?


2 My sister, my spouse, is a garden enclosed, a garden enclosed, a fountain sealed up.


3 And they took their bones and buried them in the wood of Jabes: and fasted seven days.
