4 They have seen thy goings, O God, the goings of my God: of my king who is in his sanctuary.


4 Turn away from evil and do good: seek after peace and pursue it.


6 And they said to him: Behold, there are with thy servants fifty strong men, that can go, and seek thy master, lest perhaps the spirit of the Lord hath taken him up and cast him upon some mountain or into some valley. And he said: Do not send.


But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour: that, through the grace of God, he might taste death for all.


6 For the king knoweth of these things, to whom also I speak with confidence. For I am persuaded that none of these things are hidden from him. For neither was any of these things done in a corner.


1 And they said: This man said, I am able to destroy the temple of God, and after three days to rebuild it.


5 I will lay waste the mountains and hills, and will make all their grass to wither: and I will turn rivers into islands, and will dry up the standing pools.


5 My soul hath cleaved to the pavement: quicken thou me according to thy word.


And he laid hold on the dragon the old serpent, which is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years.


But God, (who is rich in mercy,) for his exceeding charity wherewith he loved us,


6 Therefore thus saith the Lord: I will return to Jerusalem in mercies: my house shall be built in it, saith the Lord of hosts: and the building line shall be stretched forth upon Jerusalem.


To shew forth thy mercy in the morning, and thy truth in the night:


0 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet, who wrought signs before him, wherewith he seduced them who received the character of the beast, and who adored his image. These two were cast alive into the pool of fire, burning with brimstone.


0 Thou sendest forth springs in the vales: between the midst of the hills the waters shall pass.


The senseless man shall not know: nor will the fool understand these things.


6 But because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold, not hot, I will begin to vomit thee out of my mouth.


9 And God opened her eyes: and she saw a well of water, and went and filled the bottle, and gave the boy to drink.


And when he saw them, he said: These are the camps of God, and he called the name of that place Mahanaim, that is, Camps.


1 All the beasts of the field shall drink: the wild asses shall expect in their thirst.


5 And when he was speaking such words to me, I cast down my countenance to the ground, and held my peace.


And he sent messengers before him to Esau his brother to the land of Seir to the country of Edom:


And he commanded them, saying: Thus shall ye speak to my lord Esau: Thus saith thy brother Jacob: I have sojourned with Laban, and have been with him until this day.


6 And when Balac heard it he came forth to meet him in a town of the Moabites, that is situate in the uttermost borders of Arnon.


Turn again our captivity, O Lord, as a stream in the south.
