And his brethren seeing that he was loved by his father, more than all his sons, hated him, and could not speak peaceably to him.


He said to him: Take thy only begotten son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and go into the land of vision: and there thou shalt offer him for a holocaust upon one of the mountains which I will show thee.


4 And she saddled an ass, and commanded her servant: Drive, and make haste, make no stay in going. And do that which I bid thee.


6 Go therefore to meet her, and say to her: Is all well with thee, and with thy husband, and with thy son? and she answered: Well.
