And when he had possession of the kingdom, he put his servants to death that had slain the king his father:


2 Who being struck sad at that saying, went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.


3 And they cast out many devils, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed them.

4 Therefore he sent thither horses and chariots, and the strength of an army: and they came by night, and beset the city.


Naaman, general of the army of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honourable: for by him the Lord gave deliverance to Syria: and he was a valiant man and rich, but a leper.

8 Come down from thy glory, and sit in thirst, O dwelling of the daughter of Dibon: because the spoiler of Moab is come up to thee, he hath destroyed thy bulwarks.
