We are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you towards each other, aboundeth:


4 Therefore as the church is subject to Christ, so also let the wives be to their husbands in all things.


1 I speak according to dishonour, as if we had been weak in this part. Wherein if any man dare (I speak foolishly), I dare also.


2 And touching our brother Apollo, I give you to understand, that I much entreated him to come unto you with the breatheren: and indeed it was not his will at all to come at this time. But he will come when he shall have leisure.


Let every one of you please his neighbour unto good, to edification.


4 The disciple is not above the master, nor the servant above his lord.


0 And his servants arose, and conspired among themselves, and slew Joas in the house of Mello in the descent of Sella.


Lest, when the Macedonians shall come with me, and find you unprepared, we (not to say ye) should be ashamed in this matter.


Now this I say: He who soweth sparingly, shall also reap sparingly: and he who soweth in blessings, shall also reap blessings.
