Now I Paul myself beseech you, by the mildness and modesty of Christ, who in presence indeed am lowly among you, but being absent, am bold toward you.


2 To devise and to work in gold and silver and brass,


9 Wherefore let them also that suffer according to the will of God, commend their souls in good deeds to the faithful Creator.


And oil to maintain lights, and to make ointment, and most sweet incense.


And rams' skins dyed red, and violet skins, and setim wood:


8 Every one that putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and he that marrieth her that is put away from her husband, commmitteth adultery.


9 Judgments are prepared for scorners: and striking hammers for the bodies of fools.


3 For Solomon had made a brazen scaffold, and had set it in the midst of the temple, which was five cubits long, and five cubits broad, and three cubits high: and he stood upon it: then kneeling down in the presence of all the multitude of Israel, and lifting up his hands towards heaven,


0 Avoiding this, lest any man should blame us in this abundance which is administered by us.


2 And we have sent with them our brother also, whom we have often proved diligent in many things; but now much more diligent, with much confidence in you,


Lest, when the Macedonians shall come with me, and find you unprepared, we (not to say ye) should be ashamed in this matter.


7 But the princes offered onyx stone, and precious stones, for the ephod and the rational,


5 And being afraid I went and hid thy talent in the earth: behold here thou hast that which is thine.


0 And the unprofitable servant cast ye out into the exterior darkness. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
