2 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption, it shall rise in incorruption.


0 If I partake with thanksgiving, why am I evil spoken of, for that for which I give thanks ?


3 But who art thou that judgest thy neighbour? Behold, now you that say: To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and there we will spend a year, and will traffic, and make our gain.


4 But in the fourth year, all their fruit shall be sanctified, to the praise of the Lord.


I speak to your shame. Is it so that there is not among you any one wise man, that is able to judge between his brethren ?


2 And their enemies afflicted them: and they were humbled under their hands:


6 And they took the bullock which he gave them, and dressed it: and they called on the name of Baal from morning even till noon, saying: O Baal, hear us. But there was no voice, nor any that answered: and they leaped over the altar that they had made.


And put a knife to thy throat, if it be so that thou have thy soul in thy own power.


4 And I trust in the Lord, that I myself also shall come to you shortly.


And who shall be able to think of the day of his coming? and who shall stand to see him? for he is like a refining fire, and like the fuller's herb:


Two things I have asked of thee, deny them not to me before I die.


0 Their heart is curdled like milk: but I have meditated on thy law.


5 And the Jews wondered, saying: How doth this man know letters, having never learned?


For I am the Lord, and I change not: and you the sons of Jacob are not consumed.


But meat doth not commend us to God. For neither, if we eat, shall we have the more; nor, if we eat not, shall we have the less.


9 All of the male kind, that openeth the womb, shall be mine. Of all beasts, both of oxen and of sheep, it shall be mine.


0 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; nor wilt then give thy holy one to see corruption.


4 And of the singing men, Elisiab: and of the porters, Sellum, and Telem, and


Let the fear of the Lord be with you, and do all things with diligence: for there is no iniquity with the Lord our God, a nor respect of persons, nor desire of gifts.


1 And when they had prayed, the place was moved wherein they were assembled; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spoke the word of God with confidence.


That I may make thee swear by the Lord the God of heaven and earth, that thou take not a wife for my son, of the daughters of the Chanaanites, among whom I dwell:


5 Know you not that your bodies are the members of Christ ? Shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot ? God forbid.
