9 Let us therefore love God, because God first hath loved us.


Christ died for us; much more therefore, being now justified by his blood, shall we be saved from wrath through him.


He that exhorteth, in exhorting; he that giveth, with simplicity; he that ruleth, with carefulness; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.


1 But he that hateth his brother, is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth; because the darkness hath blinded his eyes.


And if unto others I be not an apostle, but yet to you I am. For you are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord.


4 For John was not yet cast into prison.


The same was in the beginning with God.


6 And if any man think himself to be religious, not bridling his tongue, but deceiving his own heart, this man's religion is vain.


Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation; in the day of temptation in the desert,


5 If the foot should say, because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body ?


Which none of the princes of this world knew; for if they had known it, they would never have crucified the Lord of glory.


4 While Peter was yet speaking these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them that heard the word.


5 The Father loveth the Son: and he hath given all things into his hand.


5 He shall sprinkle many nations, kings shall shut their mouth at him: for they to whom it was not told of him, have seen: and they that heard not, have beheld.


And I lifted up my eyes, and I saw: and behold a man clothed in linen, and his loins were girded with the finest gold:


3 Woe to thee, Corozain, woe to thee, Bethsaida. For if in Tyre and Sidon had been wrought the mighty works that have been wrought in you, they would have done penance long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.


3 And in the solemnity of the seven days he shall offer for a holocaust to the Lord, seven calves, and seven rams without blemish daily for seven days: and for sin a he goat daily.


And the priest shall burn them upon the altar: it is the burnt sacrifice of the Lord for a trespass.


Is not this rather the fast that I have chosen? loose the bands of wickedness, undo the bundles that oppress, let them that are broken go free, and break asunder every burden.


4 If any man's work abide, which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.


1 For every one taketh before his own supper to eat. And one indeed is hungry and another is drunk.


That their hearts may be comforted, being instructed in charity, and unto all riches of fulness of understanding, unto the knowledge of the mystery of God the Father and of Christ Jesus:
