9 Of old, think you that we excuse ourselves to you? We speak before God in Christ; but all things, my dearly beloved, for your edification.


4 And if I have boasted any thing to him of you, I have not been put to shame; but as we have spoken all things to you in truth, so also our boasting that was made to Titus is found a truth.


0 And the Lord will help them and deliver them : and he will rescue them from the wicked, and save them, because they have hoped in him.


6 But the Paraclete, the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and bring all things to your mind, whatsoever I shall have said to you.


2 Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy ? Are we stronger than he? All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient.


3 But having the same recompense, (I speak as to my children,) be you also enlarged.


3 In the heart of the prudent resteth wisdom, and it shall instruct all the ignorant.


0 And forthwith Saul fell all along on the ground, for he was frightened with the words of Samuel, and there was no strength in him, for he had eaten no bread all that day.

7 The just is first accuser of himself: his friend cometh, and shall search him.


And they cut off Saul's head, and stripped him of his armour, and sent into the land of the Philistines round about, to publish it in the temples of their idols, and among their people.


Out of the depths I have cried to thee, O Lord:


But thou Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend:


And them that turn away from following after the Lord, and that have not sought the Lord, nor searched after him.


I speak not this to your condemnation. For we have said before, that you are in our hearts, to die together, and to live together.


9 But as then he, that was born according to the flesh, persecuted him that was after the spirit; so also it is now.
