6 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmity. For we know not what we should pray for as we ought; but the Spirit himself asketh for us with unspeakable groanings.


And you, employing all care, minister in your faith, virtue; and in virtue, knowledge;


1 Wherefore casting away all uncleanness, and abundance of naughtiness, with meekness receive the ingrafted word, which is able to save your souls.


We suffer persecution, but are not forsaken; we are cast down, but we perish not:


Not as though the word of God hath miscarried. For all are not Israelites that are of Israel:


6 But if as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in that name.


I gave you milk to drink, not meat; for you were not able as yet. But neither indeed are you now able; for you are yet carnal.


I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, saith the Lord God, who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.


For I wished myself to be an anathema from Christ, for my brethren, who are my kinsmen according to the flesh,


5 Who shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness to them, and their thoughts between themselves accusing, or also defending one another,


8 And in nothing be ye terrified by the adversaries: which to them is a cause of perdition, but to you of salvation, and this from God:


6 Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and bringeth forth an instrument for his work, and I have created the killer to destroy.


8 Let the proud be ashamed, because they have done unjustly towards me: but I will be employed in thy commandments.


Lift up thy hands against their pride unto the end; see what things the enemy hath done wickedly in the sanctuary.


1 Therefore watch, keeping in memory, that for three years I ceased not, with tears to admonish every one of you night and day.


0 For I tell you, that unless your justice abound more than that of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.


2 Wilt thou refrain thyself, O Lord, upon these things, wilt thou hold thy peace, and afflict us vehemently?


4 They that fear thee shall see me, and shall be glad: because I have greatly hoped in thy words.


Blessed is the man to whom the Lord hath not imputed sin, and in whose spirit there is no guile.


2 To the end that my glory may sing to thee, and I may not regret: O Lord my God, I will give praise to thee for ever.


Now when these things were done, the word of the Lord came to Abram by a vision, saying: Fear not, Abram, I am thy protector, and thy reward exceeding great.


1 For this is the declaration, which you have heard from the beginning, that you should love one another.


Let no man deceive you by any means, for unless there come a revolt first, and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition,


And we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and of our gathering together unto him:


1 And as you would that men should do to you, do you also to them in like manner.


Hath he struck him according to the stroke of him that struck him? or is he slain, as he killed them that were slain by him?


9 But the sure foundation of God standeth firm, having this seal: the Lord knoweth who are his; and let every one depart from iniquity who nameth the name of the Lord.


Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them: When a man, or woman, shall make a vow to be sanctified, and will consecrate themselves to the Lord:
