Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a provoking house: who have eyes to see, and see not: and ears to hear, and hear not: for they are a provoking house.

Now these things being thus ordered, into the first tabernacle the priests indeed always entered, accomplishing the offices of sacrifices.


5 Not forsaking our assembly, as some are accustomed; but comforting one another, and so much the more as you see the day approaching.

And the people did what he had commanded, bringing the earrings to Aaron.


And not by his coming only, but also by the consolation, wherewith he was comforted in you, relating to us your desire, your mourning, your zeal for me, so that I rejoiced the more.


5 And when Moses was gone up, a cloud covered the mount.


3 It is necessary therefore that the patterns of heavenly things should be cleansed with these: but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.


0 And thy barns shall be filled with abundance, and thy presses shall run over with wine.


0 And behold a woman meeteth him in harlot's attire prepared to deceive souls; talkative and wandering,


Behold, O God our protector: and look on the face of thy Christ.


So desirous of you, we would gladly impart unto you not only the gospel of God, but also our own souls: because you were become most dear unto us.


4 Then Jesus said to his disciples: If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.


I will say to God : Thou art my support. Why hast thou forgotten me? and why go I mourning, whilst my enemy afflicteth me?


Then he cut out two tables of stone, such as had been before: and rising very early he went up into the mount Sinai, as the Lord had commanded him, carrying with him the tables.


And when those living creatures gave glory, and honour, and benediction to him that sitteth on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever;


7 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron, and as the vessel of a potter they shall be broken,


7 He, that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches: To him that overcometh, I will give the hidden manna, and will give him a white counter, and in the counter, a new name written, which no man knoweth, but he that receiveth it.


8 For thus saith the Lord: Behold I will cast away far off the inhabitants of the land at this time: and I will afflict them, so that they may be found.


5 And as soon as they came into the Jordan, and their feet were dipped in part of the water, (now the Jordan, it being harvest time, had filled the banks of its channel,)


After these things I looked, and behold a door was opened in heaven, and the first voice which I heard, as it were, of a trumpet speaking with me, said: Come up hither, and I will shew thee the things which must be done hereafter.


6 But because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold, not hot, I will begin to vomit thee out of my mouth.


1 And I gave her a time that she might do penance, and she will not repent of her fornication.


0 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer. Behold, the devil will cast some of you into prison that you may be tried: and you shall have tribulation ten days. Be thou faithful until death: and I will give thee the crown of life.


After this I beheld, and lo, another like a leopard, and it had upon it four wings as of a fowl, and the beast had four heads, and power was given to it.


The heart is perverse above all things, and unsearchable, who can know it?


0 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I will also keep thee from the hour of the temptation, which shall come upon the whole world to try them that dwell upon the earth.


1 And the words which David spoke were heard, and were rehearsed before Saul.


8 But he answered: It is not the cry of men encouraging to fight, nor the shout of men compelling to flee: but I hear the voice of singers.


4 If any man's work abide, which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.


5 But even until this day, when Moses is read, the veil is upon their heart.


6 But when they shall be converted to the Lord, the veil shall be taken away.
