2 To whom it was revealed, that not to themselves, but to you they ministered those things which are now declared to you by them that have preached the gospel to you, the Holy Ghost being sent down from heaven, on whom the angels desire to look.


2 That we may be unto the praise of his glory, we who before hoped Christ:


Who can stand before the face of his indignation? and who shall resist in the fierceness of his anger? his indignation is poured out like fire: and the rocks are melted by him.


2 I will praise thee, O Lord my God: with my whole heart, and I will glorify thy name for ever:


0 For I have no man so of the same mind, who with sincere affection is solicitous for you.


In which also we all conversed in time past, in the desires of our flesh, fulfilling the will of the flesh and of our thoughts, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest:


Dearly beloved, thou dost faithfully whatever thou dost for the brethren, and that for strangers,


7 Now therefore, O our God, hear the supplication of thy servant, and his prayers: and shew thy face upon thy sanctuary which is desolate, for thy own sake.


In the same hour there appeared fingers, as it were of the hand of a man, writing over against the candlestick upon the surface of the wall of the king's palace: and the king beheld the joints of the hand that wrote.


Shall not Sion say: This man and that man is born in her? and the Highest himself hath founded her.


And lest the greatness of the revelations should exalt me, there was given me a sting of my flesh, an angel of Satan, to buffet me.


Therefore pride hath held them fast: they are covered with their iniquity and their wickedness.


There are no speeches nor languages, where their voices are not heard.


0 And thou shewedst signs and wonders upon Pharao, and upon all his servants, and upon the people of his land : for thou knewest that they dealt proudly against them: and thou madest thyself a name, as it is at this day.


3 The children of thy sister Elect salute thee.


8 But if I do, though you will not believe me, believe the works: that you may know and believe that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.


0 And blessed be the most high God, by whose protection the enemies are in thy hands. And he gace him the tithes of all.


5 The other disciples therefore said to him: We have seen the Lord. But he said to them: Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the place of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.


And Satan answered, and said: Skin for skin, and all that a man hath he will give for his life:


5 For we are sojourners before thee, and strangers, as were all our fathers. Our days upon earth are as a shadow, and there is no stay.


Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; shame hath covered my face.


1 And I will take of them to be priests, and Levites, saith the Lord.


5 And his bowels are more abundantly towards you; remembering the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling you have received him.


2 Giving thanks to God the Father, who hath made us worthy to be partakers of the lot of the saints in light:
