7 Obey your prelates, and be subject to them. For they watch as being to render an account of your souls; that they may do this with joy, and not with grief. For this is not expedient for you.


But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaites, which I also hate.


Dearly beloved, thou dost faithfully whatever thou dost for the brethren, and that for strangers,


7 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron, and as the vessel of a potter they shall be broken,


Look to yourselves, that you lose not the things which you have wrought: but that you may receive a full reward.


7 And when I had seen him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying: Fear not. I am the First and the Last,


3 Saying: This man persuadeth men to worship God contrary to the law.


0 The mystery of the seven stars, which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches. And the seven candlesticks are the seven churches.


And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world.


And spared not the original world, but preserved Noe, the eighth person, the preacher of justice, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly.


But one in a certain place hath testified, saying: What is man, that thou art mindful of him: or the son of man, that thou visitest him?


0 They therefore being dismissed, went down to Antioch; and gathering together the multitude, delivered the epistle.


8 And he was with them coming in and going out in Jerusalem, and dealing confidently in the name of the Lord.


And falling on the ground, he heard a voice saying to him: Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?


But the other disciples came in the ship, (for they were not far from the land, but as it were two hundred cubits,) dragging the net with fishes.


5 But they cried out: Away with him; away with him; crucify him. Pilate saith to them: Shall I crucify your king? The chief priests answered: We have no king but Caesar.


And said to him: Go, wash in the pool of Siloe, which is interpreted, Sent. He went therefore, and washed, and he came seeing.


Then Jesus said to them: My time is not yet come; but your time is always ready.


4 For John was not yet cast into prison.


Now there were set there six waterpots of stone, according to the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three measures apiece.


2 And he brought him to Jesus. And Jesus looking upon him, said: Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is interpreted Peter.


3 And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?


And it came to pass, in those days, Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized by John in the Jordan.


2 And the next day, which followed the day of preparation, the chief priests and the Pharisees came together to Pilate,


8 And immediately one of them running took a sponge, and filled it with vinegar; and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink.


3 But know this ye, that if the goodman of the house knew at what hour the thief would come, he would certainly watch, and would not suffer his house to be broken open.


3 Then the disciples understood, that he had spoken to them of John the Baptist.


Again the devil took him up into a very high mountain, and shewed him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them,


Many say to my soul: There is no salvation for him in his God.


6 Go, gather together the ancients of Israel, and thou shalt say to them: The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath appeared to me, saying: Visiting I have visited you: and I have seen all that hath befallen you in Egypt.


Jesus therefore said to them: Children, have you any meat? They answered him: No.


1 Then the devil left him; and behold angels came and ministered to him.


And a vision was shewed to Paul in the night, which was a man of Macedonia standing and beseeching him, and saying: Pass over into Macedonia, and help us.


0 Who hath delivered and doth deliver us out of so great dangers: in whom we trust that he will yet also deliver us.


0 And to wait for his Son from heaven (whom he raised up from the dead,) Jesus, who hath delivered us from the wrath to come.


0 When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be made wonderful in all them who have believed; because our testimony was believed upon you in that day.


A faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation.


And in godliness, love of brotherhood; and in love of brotherhood, charity.
