2 And I will send in upon you the beasts of the held, to destroy you and your cattle, and make you few in number, and that your highways may be desolate.


0 A faithful man shall be much praised: but he that maketh haste to be rich, shall not be innocent.


7 At the voice of him that reproacheth and detracteth me : at the face of the enemy and persecutor.


6 And the Lord raised up judges, to deliver them from the hands of those that oppressed them: but they would not hearken to them,


3 Arise, sanctify the people, and say to them: Be ye sanctified against to morrow: for thus saith the Lord God of Israel: The anathema is in the midst of thee, O Israel: thou canst not stand before thy enemies, till he be destroyed out of thee that is defiled with this wickedness.


3 And thou shalt eat the fruit of thy womb, and the flesh of thy sons and of thy daughters, which the Lord thy God shall give thee, in the distress and extremity wherewith thy enemy shall oppress thee.


0 Mayst thou take a wife, and another sleep with her. Mayst thou build a house, and not dwell therein. Mayest thou plant a vineyard and not gather the vintage thereof.


2 And I will remember my covenant, that I made with Jacob, and Isaac, and Abraham. I will remember also the land:


0 Hear thou from heaven, from thy high dwelling place, and forgive, and render to every one according to his ways, which thou knowest him to have in his heart: (for thou only knowest the hearts of the children of men:)


1 Cast me not away from thy face; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
