And the Lord said to him: I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, which thou hast made before me: I have sanctified this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever, and my eyes and my heart shall be there always.


0 Give me wisdom and knowledge that I may come in and go out before thy people: for who can worthily judge this thy people, which is so great?


And entering into Jerusalem with a great train, and riches, and camels that carried spices, and an immense quantity of gold, and precious stones, she came to king Solomon, and spoke to him all that she had in her heart.


7 Is it then to be thought that God should indeed dwell upon earth? for if heaven, and the heavens of heavens cannot contain thee, how much less this house which I have built?

3 And if any one, said he, seek not the Lord the God of Israel, let him die, whether little or great, man or woman.
