And Asa did that which was good and pleasing in the sight of his God, and he destroyed the altars of foreign worship, and the high places.


7 Then Solomon went to Asiongaber, and to Ailath, on the coast of the Red Sea, which is in the land of Edom.

4 But the high places he did not take away. Nevertheless the heart of Asa was perfect with the Lord all his days:


4 But he that had received the one talent, came and said: Lord, I know that thou art a hard man; thou reapest where thou hast not sown, and gatherest where thou hast not strewed.
