2 The house of Joseph also went up against Bethel, and the Lord was with them.

5 But he did not render again according to the benefits which he had received, for his heart was lifted up: and wrath was enkindled against him, and against Juda and Jerusalem.


His mouth is full of cursing, and of bitterness, and of deceit: under his tongue are labour and sorrow.


For thou shalt give him to be a blessing for ever and ever: thou shalt make him joyful in gladness with thy countenance.


2 But I said in the excess of my mind: I am cast away from before thy eyes. Therefore thou hast heard the voice of my prayer, when I cried to thee.
