3 Till I come, attend unto reading, to exhortation, and to doctrine.


3 Let us go forth therefore to him without the camp, bearing his reproach.


5 For if, because of thy meat, thy brother be grieved, thou walkest not now according to charity. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.


Mind the things that are above, not the things that are upon the earth.


Have not we power to eat and to drink?


And every thing that moveth and liveth shall be meat for you: even as the green herbs have I delivered them all to you:


Masters, do to your servants that which is just and equal: knowing that you also have a master in heaven.


7 For he that hath determined being steadfast in his heart, having no necessity, but having power of his own will; and hath judged this in his heart, to keep his virgin, doth well.


2 Therefore every one of us shall render account to God for himself.


8 Pray for us. For we trust we have a good conscience, being willing to behave ourselves well in all things.


3 For Adam was first formed; then Eve.


But for fear of fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.


For Christ did not please himself, but as it is written: The reproaches of them that reproached thee, fell upon me.


And when his disciples were come over the water, they had forgotten to take bread.


He hath not seen the sun, nor known the distance of good and evil:


7 And immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying: Be of good heart: it is I, fear ye not.


3 But the centurion, willing to save Paul, forbade it to be done; and he commanded that they who could swim, should cast themselves first into the sea, and save themselves, and get to land.


1 Our fathers did eat manna in the desert, as it is written: He gave them bread from heaven to eat.


8 And he said to them: Why are you troubled, and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?


5 And he shall fix his tabernacle Apadno between the seas, upon a glorious and holy mountain: and he shall come even to the top thereof, and none shall help him.


8 And Saul came to Samuel in the midst of the gate and said: Tell me, I pray thee, where is the house of the seer?


9 For from the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false testimonies, blasphemies.


3 Do not still drink water, but use a little wine for thy stomach's sake, and thy frequent infirmities.
