7 For all these detestable things the inhabitants of the land have done, that; were before you, and have defiled it.


2 But Tychicus I have sent to Ephesus.


For we know that the judgment of God is, according to truth, against them that do such things.


And he said to me: See thou do it not: for I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them that keep the words of the prophecy of this book. Adore God.


2 Fight the good fight of faith: lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art called, and hast confessed a good confession before many witnesses.


6 These are murmurers, full of complaints, walking according to their own desires, and their mouth speaketh proud things, admiring persons for gain's sake.


That the aged men be sober, chaste, prudent, sound in faith, in love, in patience.


7 And he measured the wall thereof an hundred and forty-four cubits, the measure of a man, which is of an angel.


3 Let us go forth therefore to him without the camp, bearing his reproach.


8 If any man lie with a woman in her flowers, and uncover her nakedness, and she open the fountain of her blood, both shall be destroyed out of the midst of their people.


No man, being a soldier to God, entangleth himself with secular businesses; that he may please him to whom he hath engaged himself.


2 The Jews therefore said: Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest: If any man keep my word, he shall not taste death for ever.


9 If he rise again and walk abroad upon his staff, he that struck him shall be quit, yet so that he make restitution for his work, and for his expenses upon the physicians.


And they called Lot, and said to him: Where are the men that came in to thee at night? bring them out hither that we may know them:


Young men, in like manner, exhort that they be sober.


0 But on the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: thou shalt do no work on it, thou nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy beast, nor the stranger that is within thy gates.


2 And the voice of harpers, and of musicians, and of them that play on the pipe, and on the trumpet, shall no more be heard at all in thee; and no craftsman of any art whatsoever shall be found any more at all in thee; and the sound of the mill shall be heard no more at all in thee;


Emath also in the borders thereof, and Tyre, and Sidon: for they have taken to themselves to be exceeding wise.


2 Sow for yourselves in justice, and reap in the mouth of mercy, break up your fallow ground: but the time to seek the Lord is, when he shall come that shall teach you justice.


2 But if he be poor, the pledge shall not lodge with thee that night,


3 Your words have been unsufferable to me, saith the Lord.


And I turned, and lifted up my eyes, and saw: and behold four chariots came out from the midst of two mountains: and the mountains were mountains of brass.


6 The chief baker seeing that he had wisely interpreted the dream, said: I also dreamed a dream, That I bed three baskets of meal upon my heed:


8 And when the Madianite merchants passed by, they drew him out of the pit, and sold him to the Ismaelites, for twenty pieces of silver: and they led him into Egypt.


5 Meditate upon these things, be wholly in these things: that thy profiting may be manifest to all.
