2 By Sylvanus, a faithful brother unto you, as I think, I have written briefly: beseeching and testifying that this is the true grace of God, wherein you stand.


But as we were approved by God that the gospel should be committed to us: even so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God, who proveth our hearts.


1 Now he that confirmeth us with you in Christ, and that hath anointed us, is God:


Preach the word: be instant in season, out of season: reprove, entreat, rebuke in all patience and doctrine.


6 Wherefore I take you to witness this day, that I am clear from the blood of all men;


But she that is a widow indeed, and desolate, let her trust in God, and continue in supplications and prayers night and day.


6 Now the Lord of peace himself give you everlasting peace in every place. The Lord be with you all.


4 For you, brethren, are become followers of the churches of God which are in Judea, in Christ Jesus: for you also have suffered the same things from your own coutrymen, even as they have from the Jews,


0 For you suffer if a man bring you into bondage, if a man devour you, if a man take from you, if a man be lifted up, if a man strike you on the face.


1 For behold this selfsame thing, that you were made sorrowful according to God, how great carefulness it worketh in you; yea defence, yea indignation, yea fear, yea desire, yea zeal, yea revenge: in all things you have shewed yourselves to be undefiled in the matter.


4 And after some days, Felix, coming with Drusilla his wife, who was a Jew, sent for Paul, and heard of him the faith, that is in Christ Jesus.


4 You yourselves know: for such things as were needful for me and them that are with me, these hands have furnished.


And they have built the high places of Baalim, to burn their children with fire for a holocaust to Baalim: which I did not command, nor speak of, neither did it once come into my mind.


0 And the Lord speaking to Moses and Aaron, said:


And lest the greatness of the revelations should exalt me, there was given me a sting of my flesh, an angel of Satan, to buffet me.


0 For Christ therefore we are ambassadors, God as it were exhorting by us. For Christ, we beseech you, be reconciled to God.


1 For we who live are always delivered unto death for Jesus' sake; that the life also of Jesus may be made manifest in our mortal flesh.


9 And all his acquaintance, and the women that had followed him from Galilee, stood afar off, beholding these things.
