And David said in his heart: I shall gone day or other fall into the hands of Saul: is it not better for me to flee, and to be saved in the land of the Philistines, that Saul may despair of me, and cease to seek me in all the coasts of Israel? I will flee then out of his hands.


That thy alms may be in secret, and thy Father who seeth in secret will repay thee.


7 And when she was ready to be brought to bed, there appeared twins in her womb: and in the very delivery of the infants, one put forth a hand, whereon the midwife tied a scarlet thread, saying:


2 And when he was accused by the chief priests and ancients, he answered nothing.


3 But the Lord shall laugh at him : for he foreseeth that his day shall come.


0 But I know that neither thou, nor thy servants do yet fear the Lord God.


2 And David answering, said: Behold the king's spear: let one of the king's servants come over and fetch it.
