But God is faithful, who will strengthen and keep you from evil.


4 And he said: Fill four buckets with water, and pour it upon the burnt offering, and upon the wood. And again he said: Do the same the second time. And when they had done it the second time, he said: Do the same also the third time. And they did so the third time.


4 And Saul sent officers to seize David: and it was answered that he was sick.

7 And he said: I saw all Israel scattered upon the hills, like sheep that have no shepherd: and the Lord said: These have no master: let every man of them return to his house in peace.


4 And as thy life hath been much set by this day in my eyes, so let my life be much set by in the eyes of the Lord, and let him deliver me from all distress.


4 And David behaved wisely in all his ways, and the Lord was with him.


2 She let him down through a window. And he went and fled away and escaped.


5 And rejoicing in their feasts, when they had now taken their good cheer, they commanded that Samson should be called, and should play before them. And being brought out of prison he played before them, and they made him stand between two pillars.


5 And again Saul sent to see David, saying: Bring him to me in the bed, that he may be slain.
