4 And the Lord will reward me according to my justice; and according to the cleanness of my hands before his eyes.


3 And they sent messengers to the children of Benjamin, that were in the rock Remmon, and commanded them to receive them in peace.

5 And all the people went to Galgal, and there they made Saul king before the Lord in Galgal, and they sacrificed there victims of peace before the Lord. And there Saul and all the men of Israel rejoiced exceedingly


And David said to him: From whence comest thou? And he said to him: I am fled out of the camp of Israel.


0 Isboseth the son of Saul was forty years old when he began to reign over, Israel, and he reigned two years: and only the house of Juda followed David.


So all the ancients of Israel came to the king to Hebron, and David made a covenant with them before the Lord: and they anointed him king over Israel, according to the word of the Lord which he spoke in the hand of Samuel.
