But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea, which is moved and carried about by the wind.


AND at the same time, Herod the king stretched forth his hands, to afflict some of the church.


For out of much affliction and anguish of heart, I wrote to you with many tears: not that you should be made sorrowful: but that you might know the charity I have more abundantly towards you.


0 But by the grace of God, I am what I am; and his grace in me hath not been void, but I have laboured more abundantly than all they: yet not I, but the grace of God with me.


2 And now I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, who is able to build up, and to give an inheritance among all the sanctified.


0 When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be made wonderful in all them who have believed; because our testimony was believed upon you in that day.


0 And to wait for his Son from heaven (whom he raised up from the dead,) Jesus, who hath delivered us from the wrath to come.


2 These are spots in their banquets, feasting together without fear, feeding themselves, clouds without water, which are carried about by winds, trees of the autumn, unfruitful, twice dead, plucked up by the roots,


As Sodom and Gomorrha, and the neighbouring cities, in like manner, having given themselves to fornication, and going after other flesh, were made an example, suffering the punishment of eternal fire.


That you may be mindful of those words which I told you before from the holy prophets, and of your apostles, of the precepts of the Lord and Saviour.


1 For prophecy came not by the will of man at any time: but the holy men of God spoke, inspired by the Holy Ghost.


8 The salutation of Paul with my own hand. Be mindful of my bands. Grace be with you. Amen


6 And when this epistle shall have been read with you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Laodiceans: and that you read that which is of the Laodiceans.


6 For in him were all things created in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, or dominations, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him and in him.


Being confident of this very thing, that he, who hath begun a good work in you, will perfect it unto the day of Christ Jesus.


2 In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.


For to this end also did I write, that I may know the experiment of you, whether you be obedient in all things.


0 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son; much more, being reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.


And eating together with them, he commanded them, that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but should wait for the promise of the Father, which you have heard (saith he) by my mouth.


0 They therefore being dismissed, went down to Antioch; and gathering together the multitude, delivered the epistle.


2 Purifying your souls in the obedience of charity, with a brotherly love, from a sincere heart love one another earnestly:


9 Wherefore let them also that suffer according to the will of God, commend their souls in good deeds to the faithful Creator.
