5 Salute the brethren who are at Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church that is in his house.


1 Let him decline from evil, and do good: let him seek after peace and pursue it:


2 But seeing that Naas king of the children of Ammon was come against you, you said to me: Nay, but a king shall reign over us: whereas the Lord your God was your king.


1 Who must be reproved, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.


Rooted and built up in him, and confirmed in the faith, as also you have learned, abounding in him in thanksgiving.


0 For God is not unjust, that he should forget your work, and the love which you have shewn in his name, you who have ministered, and do minister to the saints.


3 A fainting hath taken hold of me, because of the wicked that forsake thy law.


4 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the remission of sins;


In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.


5 While it is said, To day if you shall hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in that provocation.


3 And who is he that can hurt you, if you be zealous of good?


9 Behold they are all in the wrong, and their works are vain: their idols are wind and vanity.


6 And I will restore thy judges se they were before, and thy counsellors as of old. After this thou shalt be called the city of the just, a faithful city.


For Egypt shall help in vain, and to no purpose: therefore have I cried concerning this: It is pride only, sit still.


Wherefore laying away all malice, and all guile, and dissimulations, and envies, and all detractions,


4 Therefore as the tongue of the fire devoureth the stubble, and the heat of the dame consumeth it: so shall their root be as ashes, and their bud shall go up se dust: for they have cast away the law of the Lord of hosts, and have blasphemed the word of the Holy One of Israel.


And having tarried among them no more than eight or ten days, he went down to Caesarea, and the next day he sat in the judgment seat; and commanded Paul to be brought.


And falling on the ground, I heard a voice saying to me: Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?


7 And we beseech thee that we may have leave to pass through thy country. We will not go through the fields, nor through the vineyards, we will not drink the waters of thy wells, but we will go by the common highway, neither turning aside to the right hand, nor to the left, till we are past thy borders.


9 And he shall stand before Eleazar the priest and all the multitude:


All the ways of a man are open to his eyes: the Lord is the weigher of spirits.


8 Pass not beyond the ancient bounds which thy fathers have set.


0 To the law rather, and to the testimony. And if they speak not according to this word, they shall not have the morning light.
