2 When the people assemble together, and kings, to serve the Lord.


1 He ran, and stood over the Philistine, and took his sword, and drew it out of the sheath, and slew him, and cut off his head. And the Philistines seeing that their champion was dead, fled away.


AND thou shalt say in that day: I will give thanks to thee, O Lord, for thou wast angry with me: thy wrath is turned away, and thou hast comforted me.


6 O look upon me, and have mercy on me: give thy command to thy servant, and save the son of thy handmaid.


As smoke vanisheth, so let them vanish away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.

8 And return to thee with all their heart, and with all their soul, in the land of their captivity, to which they were led away, and adore thee towards the way of their own land which thou gavest their fathers, and of the city, which thou hast chosen, and the house which I have built to thy name:


Now these were all circumcised. But the people that were born in the desert,


Now this is the cause of the second circumcision: All the people that came out of Egypt that were males, all the men fit for war, died in the desert, during the time of the long going about in the way.


5 And Solomon made at the same time a solemn feast, and all Israel with him, a great multitude from the entrance of Emath to the river of Egypt, before the Lord our God, seven days and seven days, that is, fourteen days.

3 O ye seed of Israel his servants, ye children of Jacob his chosen.


1 For in him our heart shall rejoice: and in his holy name we have trusted.


7 And the fields of peace have been silent, because of the fierce anger of the Lord.


And Moses with the ancients of Israel commanded the people, saying: Keep every commandment that I command you this day.
