7 Because thou, O Lord of hosts, God of Israel, hast revealed to the ear of thy servant, saying: I will build thee a house: therefore hath thy servant found in his heart to pray this prayer to thee.


4 Blessed shalt thou be among all people. No one shall be barren among you of either sex, neither of men nor cattle.


2 And he hath confirmed his words which he spoke against us, and against our princes that judged us, that he would bring in upon us a great evil, such as never was under all the heaven, according to that which hath been done in Jerusalem.


0 And these are thy servants, and thy people : whom thou hast redeemed by thy great strength, and by thy mighty hand.


7 And the fruits thereof grow up for the kings, whom thou hast set over us for our sins, and they have dominion over our bodies, and over our beasts, according to their will, and we are in great tribulation.


The Lord maketh poor and maketh rich, he humbleth and he exalteth.


4 Nations rose up, and were angry: sorrows took hold on the inhabitants of Philisthiim.


0 And the child grew, and was strengthened in spirit; and was in the deserts until the day of his manifestation to Israel.


4 Correct me, O Lord, but yet with judgement: and not in fury, lest thou bring me to nothing.


4 Every man is become a fool for knowledge every artist is confounded in his graven idol: for what he hath cast is false, and there is no spirit in them.


Who hath raised up the just one from the east, hath called him to follow him? he shall give the nations in his sight, and he shall rule over kings: he shall give them as the dust to his sword, as stubble driven by the wind, to his bow.

6 Lift up your eyes on high, and see who hath created these things: who bringeth out their host by number, and calleth them all by their names: by the greatness of his might, and strength, and power, not one of them was missing.


5 And thou, O Lord, art a God of compassion, and merciful, patient, and of much mercy, and true.


7 Lord, when wilt thou look upon me? rescue thou soul from their malice : my only one from the lions.

9 That thy eyes may be open upon this house night and day: upon the house of which thou hast said: My name shall be there: that thou mayest hearken to the prayer, which thy servant prayeth in this place to thee.

7 If thou say in thy heart: These nations are more than I, how shall I be able to destroy them?
