27 2 And two doors of olive tree: and he carved upon them figures of cherubims, and figures of palm trees, and carvings very much projecting: and he overlaid them with gold: and he covered both the cherubims and the palm trees, and the other things with gold.

2 And to the ledge itself he made a polished crown of gold, of four fingers' breadth, and upon the same another golden crown.


3 Thou shalt make a table also of setim wood, of two cubits in length, and a cubit in breadth, and a cubit and half in height.


3 So when they all sounded together, both with trumpets, and voice, and cymbals, and organs, and with divers kind of musical instruments, and lifted up their voice on high : the sound was heard afar off, so that when they began to praise the Lord, and to say: Give glory to the Lord for he is good, for his mercy endureth for ever: the house of God was filled with a cloud.


2 Then Solomon said: The Lord said that he would dwell in a cloud.


6 He made also as it were little chains in the oracle, and he put them on the heads of the pillars: and a hundred pomegranates, which he put between the little chains.


1 And in the entrance of the oracle he made little doors of olive tree, and posts of five corners,


3 And he made in the entrance of the temple posts of olive tree foursquare:


1 And the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of the Lord.
