4 Deliver me from blood, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall extol thy justice.


8 Thou hast been mad against me, and thy pride hath come up to my ears: therefore I will put a ring in thy nose, and a bit between thy lips, and I will turn thee back by the way, by which thou camest.


8 So also Christ was offered once to exhaust the sins of many; the second time he shall appear without sin to them that expect him unto salvation.


1 Return to thy place. I had determined indeed greatly to honour thee, but the Lord hath deprived thee of the honour designed for thee.


And the children of Israel, and all the multitude came into the desert of Sin, in the first month: and the people abode in Cades. And Mary died there, and was buried in the same place.

Thou knowest the will of David my father, and that he could not build a house to the name of the Lord his God, because of the wars that were round about him, until the Lord put them under the soles of his feet.


Wherefore I purpose to build a temple to the name of the Lord my God, as the Lord spoke to David my father, saying: my son, whom I will set upon the throne in thy piece, he shall build a house to my name.


6 Arise, O north wind, and come, O south wind, blow through my garden, and let the aromatical spices thereof flow.


Thy cheeks are as the bark of a pomegranate, beside what is hidden within thee.
