8 That day God made a covenant with Abram, saying: To thy seed will I give this land, from the river of Egypt even to the great river Euphrates.


Behold I command thee, take courage, end be strong. Fear not and be not dismayed: because the Lord thy God is with thee in all things whatsoever thou shalt go to.


Unto the end, for them that shall be changed; for David. SAVE me, O God: for the waters are come in even unto my soul.


9 And God gave to Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart as the sand that is on the sea shore.

7 And the foresaid governors of the king fed them: and they furnished the necessaries also for king Solomon's table, with great care in their time.


And he said to them: What counsel do you give me, that I may answer this people, who have said to me: Make the yoke which thy father put upon us lighter?


Teth. Her filthiness is on her feet, and she hath not remembered her end: she is wonderfully cast down, not having a comforter: behold, O Lord, my affliction, because the enemy is lifted up.


1 Thou hast sacrificed and given my children to them, consecrating them by fire.


A time to get, and a time to lose. A time to keep, and a time to cast away.
