4 But every man is tempted by his own concupiscence, being drawn away and allured.


3 The heart of the wise shall instruct his mouth: and shall add grace to his lips.


But, my dearly beloved, we trust better things of you, and nearer to salvation; though we speak thus.


8 And you have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him you believe not.


2 And Joab falling down to the ground upon his face, adored, and blessed the king: and Joab said: This day thy servant hath understood, that I have found grace in thy sight, my lord, O king: for thou hast fulfilled the request of thy servant.


7 David also charged all the princes of Israel, to help Solomon his son,


Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners: and purify your hearts, ye double minded.


6 That he might sanctify it, cleansing it by the laver of water in the word of life:


51 Thou art near, O Lord: and all thy ways are truth.


1 Let thy mercy also come upon me, O Lord: thy salvation according to thy word.


4 But their senses were made dull. For, until this present day, the selfsame veil, in the reading of the old testament, remaineth not taken away (because in Christ it is made void).


Then the devil took him up into the holy city, and set him upon the pinnacle of the temple,


8 It is good that thou shouldst hold up the just, yea and from him withdraw not thy hand: for he that feareth God, neglecteth nothing.


9 Meddle not with him that revealeth secrets, and walketh deceitfully, and openeth wide his lips.


5 And the king made silver and gold to be in Jerusalem as stones, and cedar trees as sycamores, which grow in the plains in great multitude.


4 And all the princes, and men of power, and all the sons of king David gave their hand, and were subject to Solomon the king.


9 For I know that this shall fall out to me unto salvation, through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,


How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather in glory?


And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterwards he was hungry.


6 And I have found a woman more bitter than death, who is the hunter's snare, and her heart is a net, and her hands are bands. He that pleaseth God shall escape from her: but he that is a sinner, shall be caught by her.


4 And the Lord said to me: from the north shall an evil break forth upon all the inhabitants of the land.


5 The innocent believeth every word: the discreet man considereth his steps. No good shall come to the deceitful son: but the wise servant shall prosper in his dealings, and his way shall be made straight.


0 Let my heart be undefiled in thy justifications, that I may not be confounded.

5 And Solomon awaked, and perceived that it was a dream: and when he was come to Jerusalem, he stood before the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and offered holocausts, and sacrificed victims of peace offerings, and made a great feast for all his servants.


9 And a chariot of four horses came out of Egypt, for six hundred sides of silver, and a horse for a hundred and fifty. And after this manner did all the kings of the Hethites, and of Syria, sell horses.


Egypt riseth up like a hood, and the waves thereof shall be moved as rivers, and he shall say: I will go up and will cover the earth: I will destroy the city, and its inhabitants.


9 Thou, O king, didst begin to think in thy bed, what should come to pass hereafter: and he that revealeth mysteries shewed thee what shall come to pass.
