Honour the Lord with thy substance, and give him of the first of all thy fruits :


When the wicked shall spring up as grass: and all the workers of iniquity shall appear: That they may perish for ever and ever:


And the angel that spoke in me answered, and said to me: Knowest thou not what these things are? And I said: No, my lord.


0 And he reigned one end forty years in Jerusalem. His mother's name was Maacha, the daughter of Abessalom.


3 Then shalt thou walk confidently in thy way, and thy foot shall not stumble:


And when he had destroyed the altars, and the groves, and had broken the idols in pieces, and had demolished all profane temples throughout all the ]and of Israel, he returned to Jerusalem.


1 And the Lord said to Solomon: Because thou hast asked this thing, and hast not asked for thyself long life or riches, nor the lives of thy enemies, but hast asked for thyself wisdom to discern judgment,


0 But God raised him up from the dead the third day:


Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell in unity.


1 For they have intended evils against thee: they have devised counsels which they have not been able to establish.


4 Gold by weight for every vessel for the ministry. And silver by weight ac- cording to the diversity of the vessels and uses.


1 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife: nor his house, nor his field, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is his.


An ancient man rebuke not, but entreat him as a father: young men, as brethren:


They have shut up the doors that were in tile porch, and put out the lamps. and have not burnt incense, nor offered holocausts in the sanctuary of the God of Israel.


And thy servant is in the midst of the people which thou hast chosen, an immense people, which cannot be numbered nor counted for multitude.


And when thou art come into the land which the Lord thy God will give thee to possess, and hast conquered it, and dwellest in it:


Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with thy whole heart, and with thy whole soul, and with thy whole strength.


9 And I will for this afflict the seed of David, but yet not for ever.


2 As also of all the courts, which he had in his thought, and of the chambers round about, for the treasures of the house of the Lord, and for the treasures of the consecrated things,


2 For thou shalt make them turn their back: in thy remnants thou shalt prepare their face.
