Let the fear of the Lord be with you, and do all things with diligence: for there is no iniquity with the Lord our God, a nor respect of persons, nor desire of gifts.


3 But the rest of the acts of Joram, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the words of the days of the kings of Juda?


And Josaphat said: Is there not here some prophet of the Lord, that we may inquire by him?


For also when we were come into Macedonia, our flesh had no rest, but we suffered all tribulation; combats without, fears within.


1 Moreover he built also high places in the cities of Juda, and he made the inhabitants of Jerusalem to commit fornication, and Juda to transgress.


1 And Joram came to Seira, and all the chariots with him: and he arose in the night, and defeated the Edomites that had surrounded him, and the captains of the chariots, but the people fled into their tents.


And now, O Lord God, thou hast made thy servant king instead of David my father: and I am but a child, and know not how to go out and come in.


And thy servant is in the midst of the people which thou hast chosen, an immense people, which cannot be numbered nor counted for multitude.


5 And you shall leave your name for an execration to my elect: and the Lord God shall slay thee, and call his servants by another name.
