1 And his servants said to him: Behold, we have heard that the kings of the house of Israel are merciful: so let us put sackcloth on our loins, and ropes on our heads, and go out to the king of Israel: perhaps he will save our lives.


2 Whom when Jesus saw, he called her unto him, and said to her: Woman, thou art delivered from thy infirmity.


1 In that day I will raise up the tabernacle of David, that is fallen: and I will close up the breaches of the walls thereof, and repair what was fallen: and I will rebuild it as in the days of old.


7 And I will cause you to go into captivity beyond Damascus, saith the Lord, the God of hosts is his name.


Then came in all the king's wise men, but they could neither read the writing, nor declare the interpretation to the king.


Behold I will bring a fear upon thee, saith the Lord God of hosts, from all that are round about thee: and you shall be scattered every one out of one another's sight, neither shall there be any to gather together them that flee.


Therefore shall a strong people praise thee, the city of mighty nations shall fear thee.


2 God who hath girt me with strength; and made my way blameless.


5 And make up the number of soldiers that have been slain of thine, and horses according to the former horses, and chariots according to the chariots which thou hadst before: and we will fight against them in the plains, and thou shalt see that we shall overcome them. He believed their counsel and did so.


5 So he mustered the servants of the princes of the provinces, and he found the number of two hundred and thirty-two: and he mustered after them the people, all the children of Israel, seven thousand:

1 And thy ears shall hear the word of one admonishing thee behind thy back: This is the way, walk ye in it: and go not aside neither to the right hand, nor to the left.


5 And Abimelech assaulted the city all that day: and took it, and killed the inhabitants thereof, and demolished it, so that he sowed salt in it.


3 Yea and if I should have acted boldly against my own life, this could not have been hid from the king, and wouldst thou have stood by me?


And thou shalt cut off the house of Achab thy master, and I will revenge the blood of my servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the Lord at the hand of Jezabel.
