Do you therefore take courage, and let not your hands he weakened: for there shall be a reward for your work.

In the mouth of a fool is the rod of pride: but the lips of the wise preserve them.


6 He that hideth up corn, shall be cursed among the people: but a blessing upon the head of them that sell.


1 And after many evils and afflictions shall have come upon them, this canticle shall answer them for a testimony, which no oblivion shall take away out of the mouth of their seed. For I know their thoughts, and what they are about to de this day, before that I bring them into the land which I have promised them.


4 And Saul said: Disperse yourselves among the people, and tell them to bring me every man his ox and his ram, and slay them upon this stone, and eat, and you shall not sin against the Lord in eating with the blood. So all the people brought every man his ox with him till the night: and slew them there.


And in the third year, Josaphat king of Juda came down to the king of Israel.
