3 For all the sins of Baasa, and the sins of Ela his son, who sinned, and made Israel to sin, provoking the Lord the God of Israel with their vanities.


2 And Juda did evil in the sight of the Lord, and provoked him above all that their fathers had done, in their sins which they committed.


1 And when Baasa had heard this, he left off building Rama, and returned into Thersa.

But the rest of the acts of Baasa and all that he did, and his battles, are they not written in the book of the words of the days of the kings of Israel?


And when Baasa heard of it, he left off the building of Rama, and interrupted his work.
