Three years he reigned in Jerusalem, and his mother's name was Michaia, the daughter of Uriel of Gabaa: and there was war between Abia and Jeroboam.


1 And the rest of the words of Solomon, and all that he did, and his wisdom: behold they are all written in the book of the words of the days of Solomon.


Because David had done that which was right in the eyes of the Lord, and had not turned aside from any thing that he commanded him, all the days of his life, except the matter of Urias the Hethite.


And shall be broken. Gripings and pains shall take hold of them, they shall be in pain as a woman in labour. Every one shall be amazed at his neighbour, their countenances shall be as faces burnt.


2 Therefore God is the leader in our army, and his priests who sound with trumpets, and resound against you: O children of Israel, fight not against the Lord the God of your fathers, for it is not good for you.


And he said to them: Go till the third day, and come to me again. And when the people was gone,


7 And I will take thee, and thou shalt reign over all that thy soul desireth, and thou shalt be king over Israel.


9 Then hear thou in heaven, in the firmament of thy throne, their prayers, and their supplications, and do judgment for them:


1 And I have set there a place for the ark, wherein is the covenant of the Lord, which he made with our fathers, when they came out of the land of Egypt.


They that are born of them, in the third generation shall enter into the church of the Lord.


6 But the things which thou hast sanctified and vowed to the Lord, thou shalt take, and shalt come to the place which the Lord shall choose:


0 You shall pass over the Jordan, and shall dwell in the land which the Lord your God will give you, that you may have rest from all enemies round about: and may dwell without any fear,


These are the judgments which thou shalt set before them.


5 And in the fifth year of the reign of Roboam, Sesac king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem.


4 Then hear thou in heaven, and for- give the sin of thy people Israel, and bring them back to the land which thou gavest to their fathers.


And Solomon did that which was net pleasing before the Lord, and did not fully follow the Lord, as David his father.


2 But the word of the Lord came to Semeias the man of God, saying:


7 And there was then no king appointed in Edom.


And the princes of Israel, and the king, being in a consternation, said: The Lord is just.
