In Jerusalem also Josaphat appointed Levites, and priests and chiefs of the families of Israel, to judge the judgment and the cause of the Lord for the inhabitants thereof.


In the eighteenth year of king Jeroboam, Abia reigned over Juda.


5 For perhaps he therefore departed for a season from thee, that thou mightest receive him again for ever:

3 For they also built them altars, and statues, and groves upon every high hill and under every green tree:
