15 0 And it came to pass when all Israel heard that Jeroboam was come again, that they gathered an assembly, and sent and called him, and made him king over all Israel, and there was none that followed the house of David but the tribe of Juda only.

But they were exceedingly afraid, and said: Behold two kings could not stand before him, and how shall we be able to resist?


8 And Micheas said: If thou return in peace, the Lord hath not spoken by me. And he said: Hear, all ye people.


9 And a woman took, and spread a covering over the mouth of the well, as it were to dry sodden barley: and so the thing was not known.


5 You are the children of the prophets, and of the testament which God made to our fathers, saying to Abraham: And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.


For there is no one in death, that is mindful of thee: and who shall confess to thee in hell?


4 And Samuel departed to Ramatha: but Saul went up to his house in Gabaa.
