A psalm for David. Rejoice in the Lord, O ye just: praise becometh the upright.


0 A faithful man shall be much praised: but he that maketh haste to be rich, shall not be innocent.


6 In those days shall Juda be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell securely: and this is the name that they shall call him, The Lord our just one.


He that saith he abideth in him, ought himself also to walk, even as he walked.


3 Thus saith the Lord God: In the day that I shall cleanse you from all your iniquities, and shall cause the cities to be inhabited, and shall repair the ruinous places,


2 But call to mind the former days, wherein, being illuminated, you endured a great fight of afflictions.


Who will have all men to be saved, and to come to the knowledge of the truth.


1 I beseech thee, O Lord, let thy ear be attentive to the prayer of thy servant, and to the prayer of thy servants who desire to fear thy name: and direct thy servant this day, and give him mercy before this man. For I was the king's cupbearer.


And say to him: Thus saith the Lord God: Behold, I come against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Mosoch and Thubal.


8 For the word of the cross, to them indeed that perish, is foolishness; but to them that are saved, that is, to us, it is the power of God.


4 Blessed shalt thou be among all people. No one shall be barren among you of either sex, neither of men nor cattle.


6 And you see and hear, that this Paul by persuasion hath drawn away a great multitude, not only of Ephesus, but almost of all Asia, saying: They are not gods which are made by hands.


3 And he was in the desert forty days and forty nights, and was tempted by Satan; and he was with beasts, and the angels ministered to him.


It is a faithful saying: and these things I will have thee affirm constantly: that they, who believe in God, may be careful to excel in good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.


We will rejoice in thy salvation; and in the name of our God we shall be exalted.


0 For you are bought with a great price. Glorify and bear God in your body.

Honour thy father and thy mother, which is the first commandment with a promise:


For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was reputed to him unto justice.


7 For what is the good thing of him, and what is his beautiful thing, but the corn of the elect, and wine springing forth virgins?


0 The Lord answered: I will make a covenant in the sight of all. I will do signs such as were never seen upon the earth, nor in any nation: that this people, in the midst of whom thou art, may see the terrible work of the Lord which I will do.


5 If heaven shall be shut up, and there shall be no rain, because of their sins, and they praying in this place, shall do penance to thy name, and shall be converted from their sins, by occasion of their afflictions:


1 A voice was heard in the highways, weeping and howling of the children of Israel: because they have made their way wicked, they have forgotten the Lord their God.


Again therefore he asked them: Whom seek ye? And they said, Jesus of Nazareth.


5 And blaspheming, many other things they said against him.
