0 Jesus answered, and said to him: Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, thou believest: greater things than these shalt thou see.


2 But Jesus said to him: Follow me, and let the dead bury their dead.


3 Let us go forth therefore to him without the camp, bearing his reproach.


But because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privately to spy our liberty, which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into servitude.


But meat doth not commend us to God. For neither, if we eat, shall we have the more; nor, if we eat not, shall we have the less.


6 For how knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save thy husband ? Or how knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt save thy wife ?


2 Beginning from the baptism of John, until the day wherein he was taken up from us, one of these must be made a witness with us of his resurrection.


5 All things are clean to the clean: but to them that are defiled, and to unbelievers, nothing is clean: but both their mind and their conscience are defiled.


1 But the younger widows avoid. For when they have grown wanton in Christ, they will marry:


1 The women in like manner chaste, not slanderers, but sober, faithful in all things.


4 Brethren, let every man, wherein he was called, therein abide with God.


1 For seeing that in the wisdom of God the world, by wisdom, knew not God, it pleased God, by the foolishness of our preaching, to save them that believe.

3 Be glad in that day and rejoice; for behold, your reward is great in heaven. For according to these things did their fathers to the prophets.


1 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you; going forth from thence, shake off the dust from your feet for a testimony to them.


8 And he saith to them: Let us go into the neighbouring towns and cities, that I may preach there also; for to this purpose am I come.


And having a mind to put him to death, he feared the people: because they esteemed him as a prophet.


My beloved put his hand through the key hole, and my bowels were moved at his touch.


2 Let no man despise thy youth: but be thou an example of the faithful in word, in conversation, in charity, in faith, in chastity.


7 But as the Lord hath distributed to every one, as God hath called every one, so let him walk: and so in all churches I teach.


8 And when he saw Jesus, he fell down before him; and crying out with a loud voice, he said: What have I to do with thee, Jesus, Son of the most high God? I beseech thee, do not torment me.
