4 Of these things put them in mind, charging them before the Lord. Contend not in words, for it is to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.


9 I know thy works, and thy faith, and thy charity, and thy ministry, and thy patience, and thy last works which are more than the former.


1 Which some promising, have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen.

1 Wherefore casting away all uncleanness, and abundance of naughtiness, with meekness receive the ingrafted word, which is able to save your souls.


5 And I will endeavour, that you frequently have after my decease, whereby you may keep a memory of these things.


3 The church that is in Babylon, elected together with you, saluteth you: and so doth my son Mark.


3 Wherefore having the loins of your mind girt up, being sober, trust perfectly in the grace which is offered you in the revelation of Jesus Christ,


And let him that is instructed in the word, communicate to him that instructeth him, in all good things.


Jesus Christ, yesterday, and to day; and the same for ever.


3 And make straight steps with your feet: that no one, halting, may go out of the way; but rather be healed.


Now I will come to you, when I shall have passed through Macedonia. For I shall pass through Macedonia.


And when he had opened the book, the four living creatures, and the four and twenty ancients fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints:


And I saw a strong angel, proclaiming with a loud voice: Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?


But speak thou the things that become sound doctrine:


1 For the grace of God our Savior hath appeared to all men;
