6 But knowing that man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ; we also believe in Christ Jesus, that we may be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: because by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.


7 But if any man violate the temple of God, him shall God destroy. For the temple of God is holy, which you are.


For though I be absent in body, yet in spirit I am with you; rejoicing, and beholding your order, and the steadfastness of your faith which is in Christ.


0 We are fools for Christ's sake, but you are wise in Christ; we are weak, but you are strong; you are honourable, but we without honour.


And when they went their way, Jesus began to say to the multitudes concerning John: What went you out into the desert to see? a reed shaken with the wind?


4 Gold by weight for every vessel for the ministry. And silver by weight ac- cording to the diversity of the vessels and uses.


3 Therefore, we also give thanks to God without ceasing: because, that when you had received of us the word of the hearing of God, you received it not as the word of men, but (as it is indeed) the word of God, who worketh in you that have believed.


3 And you are Christ's; and Christ is God's.


2 And the hand of the Lord was upon me, and he said to me: Rise and go forth into the plain, and there I will speak to thee.


7 Who slew me not from the womb, that my mother might have been my grave, and her womb an everlasting conception.


And the Lord said to Isaias: Go forth to meet Achaz, thou and Jasub thy son that is left, to the conduit of the upper pool, a in the way of the fuller's held.

4 Who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to promise thee all these things? all things are thine: and we have given thee what we received of thy hand.

5 And every one that striveth for the mastery, refraineth himself from all things: and they indeed that they may receive a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible one.


0 And I have a baptism wherewith I am to be baptized: and how am I straitened until it be accomplished?


3 So you also, when you shall see all these things, know ye that it is nigh, even at the doors.


And you shall know that I sent you this commandment, that my covenant might be with Levi, saith the Lord of hosts.


1 And they said to him: What shall we do to thee, that the sea may be calm to us? for the sea flowed and swelled.


9 And give to Solomon my son a perfect heart, that he may keep thy commandments, thy testimonies, and thy ceremonies, and do all things: and build the house, for which I have provided the charges.


4 For Jesus himself gave testimony that a prophet hath no honour in his own country.


7 But I chastise my body, and bring it into subjection: lest perhaps, when I have preached to others, I myself should become a castaway.
