3 But having the same recompense, (I speak as to my children,) be you also enlarged.


0 As sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as needy, yet enriching many; as having nothing, and possessing all things.


9 Wherefore let them also that suffer according to the will of God, commend their souls in good deeds to the faithful Creator.


5 But even until this day, when Moses is read, the veil is upon their heart.


2 At Damascus, the governor of the nation under Aretas the king, guarded the city of the Damascenes, to apprehend me.


6 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man is corrupted, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.


4 Knowing that he who raised up Jesus, will raise us up also with Jesus, and place us with you.


2 Having therefore such hope, we use much confidence:


9 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written: I will catch the wise in their own craftiness.


Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth with the truth;


6 I therefore so run, not as at an uncertainty: I so fight, not as one beating the air:


6 Know you not, that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you ?


5 The Father loveth the Son: and he hath given all things into his hand.


0 And all the multitude of the people was praying without, at the hour of incense.


3 His lord said to him: Well done, good and faithful servant: because thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will place thee over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.


For though I be absent in body, yet in spirit I am with you; rejoicing, and beholding your order, and the steadfastness of your faith which is in Christ.


6 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened by his Spirit with might unto the inward man,


Then Paul said: John baptized the people with the baptism of penance, saying: That they should believe in him who was to come after him, that is to say, in Jesus.


But when some were hardened, and believed not, speaking evil of the way of the Lord, before the multitude, departing from them, he separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus.


5 But now I shall go to Jerusalem, to minister unto the saints.


You are now full; you are now become rich; you reign without us; and I would to God you did reign, that we also might reign with you.

0 Always bearing about in our body the mortification of Jesus, that the life also of Jesus may be made manifest in our bodies.


In chastity, in knowledge, in longsuffering, in sweetness, in the Holy Ghost, in charity unfeigned,


In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.


I desire therefore, first of all, that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all men:
