Grace unto you, and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.


2 In the joy of the just there is great glory: when the wicked reign, men are ruined.


But, my dearly beloved, we trust better things of you, and nearer to salvation; though we speak thus.


0 In this is charity: not as though we had loved God, but because he hath first loved us, and sent his Son to be a propitiation for our sins.


Then he was seen by more than five hundred brethren at once: of whom many remain until this present, and some are fallen asleep.


0 Therefore, whilst we have time, let us work good to all men, but especially to those who are of the household of the faith.


9 For I know that this shall fall out to me unto salvation, through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,


0 According to the grace of God that is given to me, as a wise architect, I have laid the foundation; and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.


8 And he is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he may hold the primacy:


4 I write not these things to confound you; but I admonish you as my dearest children.


1 And sailing from Troas, we came with a straight course to Samothracia, and the day following to Neapolis;


5 Some therefore of Jerusalem said: Is not this he whom they seek to kill?


2 But though a sinner do evil a hundred times, and by patience be borne withal, I know from thence that it shall be well with them that fear God, who dread his face.


1 The innocent and the upright have adhered to me: because I have waited on thee.


2 And Joab falling down to the ground upon his face, adored, and blessed the king: and Joab said: This day thy servant hath understood, that I have found grace in thy sight, my lord, O king: for thou hast fulfilled the request of thy servant.


9 If you know, that he is just, know ye, that every one also, who doth justice, is born of him.
