AND it came to pass, while Apollo was at Corinth, that Paul having passed through the upper coasts, came to Ephesus, and found certain disciples.


Be patient therefore, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth: patiently bearing till he receive the early and latter rain.


Purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new paste, as you are unleavened. For Christ our pasch is sacrificed.


4 Not because we exercise dominion over your faith: but we are helpers of your joy: for in faith you stand.


8 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and injustice of those men that detain the truth of God in injustice:


And the Lord said to me: Proclaim aloud all these words in the cities of Juda, and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying: Hear ye the words of the covenant, and do them:


8 An unjust witness scorneth judgment: and the mouth of the wicked devoureth iniquity.


And said to him: If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down, for it is written: That he hath given his angels charge over thee, and in their hands shall they bear thee up, lest perhaps thou dash thy foot against a stone.
