But she that is a widow indeed, and desolate, let her trust in God, and continue in supplications and prayers night and day.


1 And he went through Syria and Cilicia, confirming the churches, commanding them to keep the precepts of the apostles and the ancients.


But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law. For they are unprofitable and vain.


9 The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house, with whom I also lodge.


5 And I beseech you, brethren, you know the house of Stephanas, and of Fortunatus, and of Achaicus, that they are the firstfruits of Achaia, and have dedicated themselves to the ministry of the saints:


Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James: to them that are beloved in God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called.


7 Then we who are alive, who are left, shall be taken up together with them in the clouds to meet Christ, into the air, and so shall we be always with the Lord.


4 For I say to you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see the things that you see, and have not seen them; and to hear the things that you hear, and have not heard them.


1 But by the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, we believe to be saved, in like manner as they also.


But I determined this with myself, not to come to you again in sorrow.
